Welcome to Crowd Theory — a daily game where you answer a question and predict what the crowd said. By using the app or website, you agree to these terms.
Crowd Theory is free to play. One question runs per day on a global schedule; answers and predictions lock when submitted and can’t be changed (that’s the game). Scores, streaks, leaderboards, ratings, and badges are for fun and carry no monetary value. We may adjust game mechanics, scoring, or content at any time.
Accounts are anonymous by default. You’re responsible for activity on your device’s account. Usernames must not impersonate others or contain offensive content — we may rename or remove accounts that do. You can delete your account at any time in the app (You tab → Delete my account).
You can post comments and suggest questions. By posting, you agree to our community rules: be kind — no harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, spam, personal information (yours or anyone’s), or spoiling the game for others. You keep ownership of what you write, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, moderate, and distribute it within the service. We may remove any content or restrict any account at our discretion, including through automated filtering. You can report any comment and block any user directly in the app. Suggested questions may be edited and used in the game; if we run yours, we may credit your username.
Don’t attempt to manipulate results (including automated play, multiple accounts, or interfering with the service), don’t reverse engineer or scrape the service, and don’t use Crowd Theory for anything unlawful.
The Crowd Theory name, app, design, questions, and aggregate results are ours or our licensors’. Aggregate statistics shown in the app reflect responses from players and panels and are provided for entertainment — they are not scientific polling.
Crowd Theory is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free results, or that any content (including user comments) is accurate or appropriate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms (we’ll update the date above and note material changes in the app) and may suspend or end the service or any account at any time. If you keep using Crowd Theory after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
